Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Steven Anderson, 2013 Scholarship Recipient

Steven Anderson, a 2013 Pendleton Foundation Trust Scholarship recipient, has taken his education and passion for discovery to incredible heights since graduating from Pendleton High School.

With the help of his scholarship, Steven earned dual BS degrees in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from Whitworth University. His expertise in computer science led him to exciting roles at Oracle in Colorado and then to a community health nonprofit in Spokane where he’s currently thriving as a Financial Information Systems Analyst, tackling the complexities of ERP software.

Steven’s adventures extend beyond his career! He’s explored the waterfalls of Iceland, savored sushi in Japan, indulged in pizza in Italy, and swam with humpback whales in French Polynesia.

Steven’s success is a reminder of how far dreams, hard work, and community support can take you.
