Honoring the Legacy of Pat Harcourt
Pendleton Foundation Trust joins the community in remembering Patricia (Pat) Harcourt, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 90.
Pat and her husband, Dr. Keith Harcourt, made Pendleton their home for many years, raising their family and devoting their time to community service. Pat’s generous spirit and commitment to volunteerism touched countless organizations, including her longtime service on the Pendleton Foundation Trust board.
From 1980 to 1996, Pat served as a valued member of the board of directors. She was known for her kindness, her thoughtful approach, and her steady pursuit of efficiency, always looking for ways to strengthen the work for the benefit of Pendleton. Her leadership during those 16 years helped shape the growth and impact of the Foundation’s grantmaking, leaving a legacy that continues to benefit the community today.
Pat’s service on the board reflected her broader commitment to Pendleton. She contributed to church committees, civic organizations, and served on other boards, including the Umatilla County Historical Society. In 1981, her deep involvement and leadership were recognized when she was named Pendleton’s Woman of the Year.
Pendleton Foundation Trust is deeply grateful for Pat’s years of dedication and the example she set through her service. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
